About
Our Mission
The Emmons County Soil Conservation District is dedicated to promoting soil, water, plant, animal, and air conservation practices and providing education to the community on sustainable land management. We focus on enhancing soil health and implementing effective conservation methods to support environmental sustainability for all residents.
Our Staff
The Emmons County Soil Conservation District is made up of three elected officials who serve six-year terms, two appointed supervisors who serve for one year, a district manager, and a district technician. The Board is the official governing body of the soil conservation district and carries out programs to conserve and develop the natural resources within the district.

The Emmons County Soil Conservation District works along with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to provide conservation to the public.
